Blanka Kaker

Blanka Kaker has been a product manager for environmental management (ISO 14001, EMAS, carbon footprint) and energy management (ISO 50001) at SIQ Ljubljana since 2005. She is a leading auditor for quality management systems, environmental management, energy management and occupational health and safety management and has conducted nearly 1,000 audits of management systems in various organisations in Slovenia over the past 26 years. As Head of Verification and Validation of Greenhouse Gas Emissions, she manages the annual verification of emissions in companies covered by the EU ETS and in recent years has also been involved in the verification of carbon footprints under other schemes. She has lectured at SIQ on environmental and energy management systems and sustainable development.
