Prof. Marko Jaklič, PhD, is a full professor of business economics at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana. He is active in the fields of strategic management, innovation, organisation, competitiveness policy and political economy. He is involved in many international research projects on institutions in economic development. He has published many articles in internationally renowned journals and written contributions to books in the field of business and management development. He is a trainer of supervisory board members and a lecturer and member of the examination board for the certificate at the Association of Supervisors of Slovenia, where he is also the head of the Programme Council. In 2009-2013 he was the Chairman of the Council for Science and Technology of the Republic of Slovenia. For more than 25 years he has been working as a facilitator of action learning for top managers. He has worked with many companies and organisations in the areas of strategic and sustainable development, innovation and organisation.
