She is an interdisciplinary expert with more than 20 years of experience in materials development, technology and process optimisation. She holds a PhD from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Maribor, where she researched medical materials.
She is co-founder of a start-up company (founded in 2011) for the production of personalised medical devices with AM technologies. Her work has been awarded several times and she regularly lectures, publishes and supports young talent.
As project manager of the MCTG – International Centre for Sustainable Construction, she focuses on sustainable innovation in construction and connecting all stakeholders in the value chain. Her achievements include the development of the first smart concrete batching plant in Slovenia and the implementation of the largest digital transformation project in the construction sector co-funded by NOO.
